Notes

A $1,000 security deposit is required for all bookings made through our direct booking website or through VRBO. The security deposit will be returned, less any damages, within 14 days of vacating the apartment.

Nice Stay's standard lease agreement must be signed prior check-in.

Pursuant to NYC law, this apartment may be rented for a minimum of 30 days.

Pets are allowed on a case-by-case. Please let us know in advance if you plan to bring your pet and we will promptly get back to you regarding approval. If your pet is approved, a one-time non-refundable pet fee of $500 will be charged. The foregoing does not apply to registered service animals.

We kindly ask that you leave the apartment in the same condition that it was in upon move-in. An additional cleaning fee of $150 applies if the apartment is left in poor condition.

Neighborhood

It’s no surprise Carnegie Hill on the Upper East Side is named for one of the many homes of Andrew Carnegie, one of America’s richest men. Today the neighborhoods’ reputation for affluence hasn’t strayed too far, with stately townhouses, fine dining, and iconic streets like Fifth Avenue, Park Avenue, and Lexington Avenue. Between the pearls and Porsches, you can find unexpected, trendy destinations like Kaia Wine Bar and Earl’s Beer and Cheese.

The Upper East Side micro- neighborhood’s namesake Carnegie Mansion now houses the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum. The Museum Mile (and beyond) extends both north and south with the Museum of the City of New York, the Guggenheim Museum, The Africa Center, and of course the Metropolitan Museum of Art (a.k.a. The Met).

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Before Check-In: In order to receive a full refund, guests must cancel their reservation: (1) within 48-hours of booking, AND (2) at least 28-days prior to check-in.

Cancellation After Check-In:

If a guest cancels their reservation after check-in (a/k/a during their stay) AND has 30+ days left on their reservation, then the guest will be responsible to pay for each day of their stay (including the day they check-out) PLUS an additional 30 days.

No cancellations are allowed for stays with less than 30-days remaining on the reservation.
